Luna Maya start her career as a model, and then develop her self in role art, in a film or sinetron. Her Uppermost achievement as model is chosen Luna as Lux Star 2006.

Her Film debut is "30 Hari Mencari Cinta" (2004), where in the film, Luna Sharing antagonis as Barbara, a sexy and beautiful idol girl. Even small sharing in the film, Luna assumed a success actress.

One year later Luna return landing roles on "Brownies" (2005). As in previous film, in film of instruction of stage manager Hanung Bramantyo, Luna still get the small role. Luna newly get the especial role, when she landing role "Bangsal 13" (2005) by playing the part of character Mina.

Name Luna became well known, when she play "Cinta Silver" with Rima Melati and Catherine Wilson. At the same time, she make a relationship With Ariel, vokalis of Peterpan band, even then they broke up.

Besides those film, exgirlfriend Fachry Albar this, also have play "Ruang" film, "Jakarta Undercover", "Alexandria" and "Pesan Dari Surga". Even on 2006, by "Ruang" film she succeed to squire her self in nomination of Festival Film Indonesia categorize the Best Woman Characterization.

For a while some sinetron which have been stared are, "Dan", "Kau dan Aku", "Ada Cinta", "Rahasiaku" and "Anggun".
